Definition of interior – any area/areas inside where doors can be closed. ❖ 2 hides ❖ 3-minute search time ❖ Surface hides (within reach of smallest dog) ❖ Blank/clean shell ❖ 1 false call permissible ❖ Dogs may be rewarded in the search area Exterior search Definition of exterior – any outside area/areas/perimeters. ❖ 2 hides ❖ 3-minute search time ❖ Surface hides (within reach of smallest dog) ❖ Blank/clean shell ❖ 1 false call permissible ❖ Dogs may be rewarded in the search area 39 Vehicle search Definition of vehicles – any cars/vans/tractors/trailers/quad bikes etc. ❖ 2 hides ❖ 2 vehicles ❖ 3-minute search time ❖ Hides may be on the exterior of any vehicle ❖ Surface hides (within reach of smallest dog) ❖ Blank/clean shell ❖ 1 false call permissible ❖ Dogs may be combination of items. ❖ 8 items ❖ 1 hide ❖ Dogs to be worked on a line in the search area Selection test Definition of items - tubs/boxes/shoes/plant pots/pipes/scent boxes/a combination of items. ❖ 8 items ❖ 1 hide ❖ 1.5 minutes search time ❖ Dogs ❖ Blank/clean shell ❖ 1 false call permissible ❖ Dogs may be rewarded in the search area. ❖ Items may be laid out in any pattern provided it is clear to the judge which be worked on a line.
